Shot missing / Wicket falling easily / Losing matches / Rigged Game

We understand how frustrating it can be to feel like the game is working against you, especially after putting in so much effort into the game.

We want to assure you that there is no intentional rigging of matches. The probabilities and outcomes in the game are purely based on algorithms designed to simulate real-life cricket scenarios.
These are just probabilities and there is no fixed sequence. Some days luck is not with us and on some days we rock the show.

As far as the Shot Probability of Players is concerned, it depends on the batting and bowling attributes of individual batsmen & bowlers. The bowler's delivery type might have been stronger and the batsman must have that shot attributes weak resulting in a lower percentage success rate for that ball.

It's important to understand how Probabilities work, as we want to be as transparent to you as possible.
The probabilities are calculated for individual balls separately.
            For Eg.
  • If the probability is 50% & 1st shot is 50% miss, then that doesn't mean 2nd ball will be a hit. For the 2nd ball again the chances are 50-50.
  • The same is with 80% or any other probability. 80% probability means there is still a 20% chance of a miss.

Here are some tips which might help:
1. Batsman cannot lose a wicket at 80% and above probability, unless the bowler's Special Ability is active.
2. Above 90%, the batsman will not miss a shot.

Taking one step forward, We would like you to know about a psychological phenomenon known as Frequency bias. It is a cognitive bias referring to the tendency to notice something more often after noticing it for the first time, leading to the belief that it has an increased frequency of occurrence.

As humans, we tend to remember bad things more often because of the Confirmation bias of noticing the misses more often.
